"Dock" means a basin for the storage of boats, including a basin formed between the extension of two piers on the area between a bank or quay and a pier. Docking facilities may include moorage, docks, or any place or structure connected with the shore or upon shorelands provided for the securing of a boat. (Ord. 523 § 1(part), 1989)
