"Day care" means a facility which provides daily care and supervision of five or more children or handicapped, disabled, or elderly adults not related by blood or marriage and not the legal ward of the attendant adult. "Homes" (5-12 individuals) must be registered with the appropriate State agency. "Centers" (13 or more individuals) must be licensed with the appropriate state agency. (Ord. 523 § 1(part), 1989)
