Whenever any building existing on the effective date of this title is subsequently altered to increase floor area by fifty percent or more, off-street loading spaces shall be provided as indicated. Nothing in these provisions shall be construed to require off-street loading areas for the portions of such buildings existing at the time of passage of this title. (Ord. 523 § 1(part), 1989)
