17.20.300 Water supply.

A. An adequate and potable supply of water must be provided in each recreational vehicle park. Where a public water supply of satisfactory quantity and pressure is available, and the owner agrees to provide service, connection must be made thereto and its supply used exclusively. When a satisfactory existing public water supply is not available, a private or public water supply system may be developed and used as approved by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality.
B. A common watering station is required in each recreational vehicle park, except those in which each recreational vehicle space is provided with an individual water service connection. A watering station shall consist of at least a water hydrant and the necessary appurtenances and must be protected against the hazards of backflow, back siphonage and hose contamination. Watering stations must be located so as to eliminate the possible use of the hose for sewage holding tank flushing. (Ord. 588 § 1(part), 1996)
