All water supply systems shall meet with the minimum standards of the city, the city-county health department and the Montana Department of Environmental Quality. Plans for the sewer system shall be submitted to and reviewed by the Columbia Falls public works department. The plans shall be approved by the city council upon the recommendation of the public works department in order to ensure adequate water supply as well as adequate pressure for fire protection. Plans for the water system shall be submitted to and reviewed by the Columbia Falls public works department. The department shall then make its recommendation to the city council.
