Violation of the provisions of this chapter or failure to comply with any of these requirements, including permit approval prior to development of flood-prone lands and conditions and safeguards established shall constitute a misdemeanor. Any person who violates this chapter or these regulations or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than one hundred dollars or imprisoned in jail for not more than ten days or both. Each day’s continuance of a violation shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense. (Ord. 576 § 5(H), 1994)
