The city adopts by reference the current edition and appendices of the International Residential published by the International Code Council, as such code is adopted and amended by the Building Codes Bureau of the Department of Labor and Industry of the state of Montana, as and for the rules, regulations, requirements and conditions governing the construction, prefabrication, alteration, repair, use, occupancy and maintenance of detached one-family or two-family dwellings and one-family townhouses not more than three stories in height and their accessory structures within the city.
