15.04.060 Marking of boundaries required.

Whenever any person shall make application for a building permit to erect or construct any new building or structure, or to remodel, enlarge, extend, or relocate any existing building or structure, on any lot or tract within the city, and the building inspector of the city shall determine that an uncertainty exists as to the location of the boundary lines of such lot or tract so as to present a question as to the propriety of issuing a building permit for such erection, construction, remodeling, enlarging, extending, or relocating, the building inspector shall, before issuing such building permit, require the person making application for such permit to cause a surveyor, licensed as such under the laws of the state, to emplace such corner stakes, boundary markers, or other monuments as will permit the building inspector to determine such question, and to rule upon the propriety of the application for such building permit.
