13.04.330 Irrigation-When allowed.

In the interest of preventing waste and promoting conservation of water, the utility may specify the hours and days during which irrigation will be permitted.
A. Notice. Utility will publish notice thereof in newspapers at the start of the irrigation restrictions, or whenever conditions require a change, and will prominently post such notice in its local office.
B. Failure to Comply. When the utility discovers any customer failing to observe the hours or days for irrigation service or wasting water, he shall deliver to such customer a copy of the notice of hours and days of irrigation and shall advise the customer of the wastage fee which is to be charged if water is wasted or the specified irrigation hours or days are not observed by the customer. If the customer is not at home the utility shall leave a notice of the violation at the customer’s premises and it shall be deemed the customer has been adequately notified. If this customer fails to comply at any subsequent time in the irrigation season, utility may discontinue service without further notice. (Ord. 653 § 1(part), 2004)
