Chapter 12.44 STREET MAINTENANCE
12.44.020 Cost-Determination.
The cost of all maintenance within the district shall include
the following:
A. One hundred percent of all the salaries, wages,
remuneration of the city streets department, including the city’s share of
payroll taxes, deductions, withholdings, or fringe benefits applicable
thereto;
B. At least one-half of the annual salary, including all
withholdings, deductions or fringe benefits of the public works superintendent
of the city;
C. A portion of the annual salary, including withholdings,
deductions or fringe benefits of non-union employees for administration and
support for the program, which sum is necessary to include within the
maintenance cost of the district as the district’s share of the
administrative cost thereof;
D. Such materials and supplies to be utilized in maintenance
in each fiscal year as are budgeted by the city for that fiscal year;
E. Such purchased services and fixed charges attributable to
district maintenance costs in each fiscal year as are budgeted by the city for
