Any person or entity charged with the duty and responsibility of removal of ice and/or snow from paved sidewalks by this chapter, who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars or imprisoned in the city jail for a period not exceeding three days or both. Each day that a violation of this chapter is committed or permitted to continue, shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punished upon conviction thereof, as a separate offense hereunder.
