10.75.050 Unlawful operation.

It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate any snowmobile in any one or more of the following manners:
A. At a rate of speed greater than fifteen miles per hour, or lesser posted speed, or reasonable and proper under all existing conditions;
B. Without a full stop at any and all stop signs;
C. In a careless or reckless manner so as to endanger the person or property of another, or to cause injury or damage to either;
D. Without a lighted head lamp and tail lights at all times;
E. Operating a snowmobile, or permitting such operation, by any person who by reason of age, physical or mental disability or who is under the influence of intoxicating liquor, narcotics or other drugs is incapable of operating the snowmobile under the existing laws;
F. Without a muffler in good working order and in constant operation which shall prevent excessive or unusual noise and effluents;
G. No person shall leave or allow a snowmobile owned or operated by him to remain unattended on any public highway or public property with the motor running or with the starting key left in the ignition;
H. No owner or operator of a snowmobile may attach, tie or tow, either himself or the snowmobile to any other vehicle upon the streets or roadways;
I. All snowmobiles when parked on a street must be against the curb in such a manner as to afford the least obstruction to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. (Ord. 393 § 5, 1980)
