Chapter 9.20 OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC DECENCY
9.20.050 Consumption of alcoholic beverage in public.
No person shall use, drink, or consume beer, wine, or other
intoxicating liquor while such person is on any public street, sidewalk, alley,
or highway, or in any public place of the public area within the city, or in an
automobile or other vehicle while the same is parked or operated on any public
street, public alley, highway, or public place or area in the city; provided,
however, that any beer, wine, or intoxicating liquor purchased in the city from
a person selling the same lawfully at such place, in accord with a license
therefor, may be consumed at such place. (Ord. 341 § 1, 1977)
