Chapter 8.04 NUISANCES
8.04.020 Slaughtering animals.
If any person shall slaughter or kill any cattle, calves,
sheep, or swine within the city limits or within half a mile of the same, or
occupy or use any yard, pen, enclosure, or building for the purpose aforesaid,
every such person shall be deemed guilty of maintaining a nuisance and upon
conviction thereof shall be fined not less than five dollars; nor more than
twenty dollars; and every day’s continuance of such nuisance shall be
deemed a separate offense, punishable with like fine. (Ord. 5 Art. VI § 5,
