It is unlawful for chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, or other barnyard fowl to run at large within the corporate limits of the city, and anyone allowing any such fowl to run at large and trespass upon the public streets and places of the town or upon the property of another to his hurt or annoyance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction thereof be fined for every such offense not less than one dollar nor more than five dollars.
