Chapter 5.08 ALCOHOL SALES
5.08.020 License-Application.
The applicant or applicants for a Columbia Falls retail
alcoholic beverage license shall comply with the following requirements in order
to obtain a license:
A. He shall complete an application in a form provided by the
city and filed with the city clerk and shall provide answers to all of the
information required thereon, including the type of license applied for, the
type of business to be conducted, the name of the proposed licensed
establishment, the street address of the proposed licensed establishment, the
name and mailing address of the owner, the name and mailing address of the
manager, if other than the owner, the telephone number of the establishment and
of the owner or manager. The application must be signed by the owner of the
business for which the license is applied;
B. Offer proof to the clerk that the applicant has obtained
and has in force and effect a valid license from the state for retail
sales;
C. Submit with the application the necessary license fees, as
set forth in this title;
D. If the city clerk finds that all information required to
obtain a license has been supplied to her, the application is completed in
proper form and the required fees are paid, the clerk shall thereupon issue unto
the applicant the retail alcoholic beverage license of the city for which
application was made;
E. The retail alcoholic beverage license provided for herein
shall be an annual license which shall commence on July 1st of each year and
extend through June 30th the following year. (Ord. 438 § 2,
