From and after the enactment of the resolution codified in this section, the zoning commission of the city, required by MCA 76-2-307 as a precondition to zoning within the city and heretofore continuously in existence as a seven member board of the city, shall hereafter be a five member board and have as its members those four or five members of the Columbia Falls city-county planning board who are residents of the city, such persons to serve without pay and for the same term as they serve on such city-county planning board.
