2.16.140 Street maintenance and public works equipment superintendent.
The street maintenance and public works equipment
superintendent, subject to the charge and supervision of the manager, shall
administer, schedule and coordinate the maintenance of all city streets and
rights-of-way, including clearing, snow removal, overlaying and patching of
streets; coordinate with the sewer/water superintendent the scheduling of
equipment and manpower for the purpose of maintenance and improvements to the
city’s parks and other public property; supervise as requested any
repairs, maintenance and improvements to city facilities, including city hall;
operate, maintain, repair and purchase as needed any equipment necessary to
carry out the city’s public works functions; and, perform other functions
requested by the manager and described by position description. (Ord. 586
