The sewer/water superintendent, subject to the charge and supervision of the manager, shall manager and supervise the operation and maintenance of the city’s water and sewer utilities, including the wells, water distribution system, reservoir, sewage collection system and wastewater treatment plant; provide necessary planning and administration for the effective and efficient maintenance and operation of the utilities; map, log and catalog the locations of existing and new water and sewer lines and services; and, perform other functions requested by the manager and described by position description.
