1.08.070 Passage without referral.

An ordinance fully considered and finally passed at one meeting may be so passed without reference to a committee, at the discretion of the council. (Ord. 1 § 7, 1909)

1.08.080 Signing and attestation.
A. After final passage of an ordinance, in order that it shall become operative as the law of the city, it shall be approved by the mayor, and the amended draft of the same signed by the mayor, and attested by the clerk, at the time of final passage.
B. Within ten days after the passage of any ordinance the city clerk shall post a copy of such ordinance in his office and shall see that the same remains posted for a pe- riod of five days.
C. Upon the expiration of such period of five days, the clerk shall attach to the record of such ordinance his certificate substantially in the following form:

City of Columbia Falls)

I, _______________, City Clerk of Columbia Falls, do hereby certify that on the _____ day of __________ 19_____, I posted a copy of the foregoing ordinance in my office, and that the same remained posted for a period of five days thereafter, and that the foregoing record is a true copy of the ordinance as passed by the Council.
